[A cuban combo]
Back in 2003 we came up with the idea of presenting the music and vibrance of a five-member cuban combo, however consisting of only two people. Two years later in 2005, we accomplished what had seemed like a lifelong dream.
Sol de Oro is it ever since - a project straight from the hearts of Tom Rossi and Luka Cojhter.
Luka plays a lead spanish guitar, while
Tom switches between acoustic rhythm guitar and accordion.
Background instruments like acoustic bass and percussion such as congas, bongos and timbales were recorded in studio and are being added on stage.
As a result, Sol de Oro delivers the sweeping sound of an entire cuban band onto stage, while at the same time offering the flexibility of a duet when it comes to scheduling, space requirement and cost.
